Council of State Approves Appointment of IG, RECs

THE Council of State, on Wednesday, September 7, approved the appointment of the Ibrahim Idris as inspector general of Police.

The council, which met at the presidential villa, Abuja, on Wednesday, similarly approved the appointment of six resident electoral commissioners, RECs for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC as well as five commissioners for the National Population Commission, NPC.
