THE Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, @ Your Door Campaign Forum has described Ibrahim Dankwambo, governor of Gombe State, as a shining light of the party.

The forum, in a statement, signed by Jacob Onjewu Dickson, its national publicity secretary,  said Dankwambo is a true testimony of what the PDP stands for as he marks his 56th birthday on April 4.

“His Excellency, Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo is a leading light of the PDP. Even in these dark days of the nation, Dankwambo alongside other PDP Governors have been executing projects that are touching the lives of their people in states controlled by our great party.

“In 2015, Dankwambo stood firm and retained his state for our great party. The rigging and thuggery machine of the APC which penetrated almost all states of Northern Nigeria could not penetrate Gombe owing to the fact that the people stood by him, as a result of the people oriented projects undertaken by him,” the statement said.

PDP @ Your Door Campaign Forum stressed that the governor is not just a blessing to the North, but the entire country.

“We wish him more fruitful years ahead, so that he can bless the country more,” the statement said.
