Obiano targets completing 40 Roads in His Second Tenure

GOVERNOR Willie Obiano of Anambra has set a target of completing construction of about 40 roads in Anambra before the middle of the rainy season.

The governor affirmed this on June 13, while on an inspection tour of the 2.455km — Agbaja, Abatete – Oraukwu/Alor junction and the 15.9km Okpuno – Urum – Amanuke – Achalla road. The road has a 20m adjoining bridge.

Obiano expressed delight at the pace and quality of the projects so far completed.

He observed that the projects had advanced reasonably and directed the contractors to complete the projects speedily.

Obiano expressed his desire to inaugurate the roads as soon as possible.
