PDP Will Take Over Imo‎ – Ogulewe

A STALWART of the Peoples Democratic Party in Imo state, Chiedozie Ogulewe has expressed confidence that the party will definitely take over the leadership of the state and even the country come 2019.

Ogulewe, an Indonesian based business man and a major financier of the party in Ahiazu Mbaise said in Owerri that the party going by the smooth conduct of its state congress in Imo has proved that it is a party to beat at the 2019 elections.

Ogulewe, who is popularly known as Master P, said he is very delighted that the congress was peacefully and quietly   concluded, describing it as a confirmation of the birth of a new PDP in Imo.

He said the successful conclusion of the congress has proved the fact that the party has witnessed a lot of restructuring and re positioning and is set to take over the state which he said is core PDP.

He commended Emeka Ihedioha, former PDP governorship candidate in the state, Achike Udenwa, former governor of Imo, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, owner of Champion newspaper and other stake holders of the party for their roles in ensuring a successful congress both at the state and the federal levels and urged any aggrieved individual\s to be good party men and seek dialogue with the party leadership.

Ogulewe dismissed the idea that the party is dead, insisting that it is as strong as ever as evidenced by the resolution of the leadership crises at its national secretariat through the extension of the Makarfi mandate recently at the Port Harcourt congress and also the successful and peaceful conclusion of its congress in Imo and urged members of the party to always support the party.
