ABDULMUMINI Sa,ad,  the Provost, Federal College of Education Yola, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his administration’s efforts in restoring peace and  hope to the people of North-East.

Sa’ad made the commendation in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) Monday in Yola.

The provost also commended the level of relative peace, the ongoing reconstruction and rehabilitation projects in the region by the Federal Government.

“I appreciate the President Buhari-led administration for restoring relative peace in the North-East and would like to commend the government for coming up with several initiatives aimed at restoring hope in the region,” Sa’ad said.

He said that the college was working in collaboration with several  organisations to compliment federal government efforts in rebuilding the region.

Sa,ad reiterated the readiness of the college to partner with any organisation to contribute  to the developmental initiative of “Mr Buhari.“

According to the Provost, the college has the capacity, both interms of personnel and infrastructure, to partner with federal government for effective and meaningful development across the North-East.

“The college has qualified  personnel in various fields that include psycho-social support, classroom pedagogy, multi grade teaching and early entrepreneur education.

“As a victim of insurgency, the college will also need government’s special intervention to upgrade its facilities, boost and expand its service delivery.”
