Royal father urges youths to shun violence

EZE Ugonwanne M.C Ngene, the grand patron, National Youth Vision, NYC, South East and traditional ruler, Nibo, has called on youths in Anambra to shun violence ahead of 2019 General Elections.

Eze Ugonwanne made this call when Nibo youths paid him homage at his palace on Aug. 26.

He urged them not to get involved in activities that would mar their future.

“You should not be involves in selfish goals of politicians, who have interest in using innocent youths to achieve their wicked plans.

“Utilise judiciously youth development and empowerment platforms available in Anambra State, so as to become useful to yourselves and your generation,” Ugonwanne admonished.

Ugonwanne, then, enjoined school heads and community leaders to initiate programmes and activities that would enhance the potential of the youths so as to make them proactive.

He reiterated the need for government, private individuals and international bodies to provide workable and pragmatic steps to engage the youths in order to protect the future of the country.
