MR Joseph Oluwole of Zion of Christ Church Ilorin, has admonishes Nigerians in diaspora to pray for their country and stop cursing their father land.

Oluwole, who gave the advise in Ilorin on Friday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), said most Nigerians abroad always speak evil about their country.

According to him, Nigeria as a nation deserves prayer and not consistent curse from her descendants.

“Must you speak negative about a country you originated from? Enough of the curse and condemnation. Learn to pray for your root.

“No country is perfect. I always feel sad when i read bad things on social media about our dear nation coming from Nigerians residing abroad.

“Use your mouth to pray and let us prophesise good things about our country, and not negative things. Remember you left some of your relatives behind before travelling. Wish others well and not bad,” he advised.

The cleric however called on Nigerian leaders to have fear of God in them and rescue the country from its economic woes.

He also advised the public to join hands with the government to move the country forward for a better nation. (NAN)
