EKITI United FC will on Tuesday slug it out with Knights Football Club from Ile-Ife, Osun State in a friendly encounter.
The match is parts of the quest of the Ekiti team to finalise preparations towards the kick-off of the Nigeria National Football league (NNL) 2021.
This is contained in a statement issued by team’s Publicity Secretary, Qozeem Oladapo made this known in a statement on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
The match will be played at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti.
The Ekiti boys have been playing their previous pre-season matches at the University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti, in Ikere Local Government Area, football pitch.
According to the statement, the Tuesday’s match will be the last pre-season friendly, prior to kick-off of the NNL on Jan. 30.
The team would travel to Edo to play their first league away match with the Dynamite FC.
Other teams in the same NNL group B1 with Ekiti United are Go Round FC, Akajobi FC, Stores FC, Giant Brillars and Shooting Stars.
The rest are, Rovers FC, Delta Force FC, Vandrezzer FC, Nilayo FC and Nnewi UTD FC.
