Arsenal fans, who are desperate to see their team lift the Premier League trophy this season, set off fireworks outside the hotel where they thought Manchester City were staying in London ahead of today’s crucial meeting against Tottenham Hotspur.

The fans were reported in the media to have set off fireworks đźŽ† and firecrackers to break the concentration of Pep Guardiola’s men in their title race.

In fact, they proudly filmed their actions and posted them anonymously on social media and other online sports channels.

However, the English media noted that City’s squad did not spend the night in London. So the fans efforts were in vain and their plans did not work out as they had expected.

It will be recalled that the Gunners had on Sunday did their job well as they beat Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford to put a stiff challenge for this season’s Premier League title.

But, their destiny is in the hands of Manchester City, who need to win their final two matches against Tottenham and West Ham to secure a record fourth consecutive English title.

Meanwhile, Arsenal can just make sure they don’t stumble in their last game of the season against Everton at Emirates Stadium in London.

Last year, Arsenal saw their dreams dashed by the Sky Blues (Manchester City) and they don’t want a repeat of that.

Man. City plays Tottenham Hotspur at 8pm local time at Tottenham Stadium 🏟️ in London.
