PRESIDENT Yoon Suk Yeol on Thursday said he will support the expansion of medical personnel.

According to him, the above is to address the shortage of healthcare providers.

That are in remote areas and essential medicine, doubling down on a plan fiercely opposed by doctors’ groups.

However, he promised to reduce the legal risks caused by medical accidents.

Then introduce a new scheme to fairly compensate doctors for their work. (Yonhap/NAN)
