THE family of Ubachima 1, Awo-Omamma has announced that the interment of late Professor George A. Obiozor will hold on February 3, 2023.
According to the statement signed by Cyprian C. Obiozor, on behalf of the family, the body will arrive at his compound at 8am, while the lying in state will commence from 8:15 to 9:30am.
The body will afterwards leave for the funeral mass at St John’s Catholic Church, Ubachima 1, Awo-Omamma, Oru-East LGA, Imo State. The statement added that the body will return after the mass for interment at his compound at 1pm.
“Reception and condolences follow immediately after the interment at his compound,” it added.
It will be recalled that Gov. Hope Uzodimma of Imo state had announced the passing away of Professor George A. Obiozor, CON, at 80 years, on December 12, 2022.
Prof. Obiozor was before his death, the President General of the Ohaneze Ndiogbo Worldwide.
He is survived by brothers, a sister, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many other relations.
His family described him as a loving husband to (nee Onyedinma), a father, and grandfather.
