PROF CN Uwazurike, former provost of Alvan Ikoku College of Education and Dean of Education, Imo state University, Owerri, is to be buried on December 23. He died on October 25.
The burial of the provost, who is the brother of Goody Uwazuruike, a lawyer and former president of Aka Ikenga, will take place in his compound at Umunakanu Ehime Mbano LGA Imo State after Pontifical Requiem Mass at St Theresa Catholic Church Umunakanu at 10am.
The Alvan Ikoku College of Education and Imo State University communities held a Service of Songs in Owerri on Dec 15, according to a statement made available to Realnews on December 18, by Goddy Uwazurike.
