THE gruesome murder of Chief Silas Onyima, Ichie Ogidi, the President-General of Umuoji is regarded as the highest level of inhumanity against humanity. And such barbaric act is totally condemned and frowned at by Mba bu Urumkpu  and our Great Ancestors.

The question is what did he do to deserved such untimely but painful murder from his fellow human being? Does anyone have the right to take away life of another human being he did not create in the first instance?  Unleashing such cruelty and wickedness on your fellow human being haven’t you offended someone in your entire life before and yet be forgiven? If we all are imperfect beings characterised with emotions of envy, jealousy, wickedness, sabotage, cruelty, vaulting ambition, mischief and frivolity, then which right, gut, impetus etc do we have to take our away someone’s life without thinking and questioning?

All of us are visitors in this world and definitely one day we would pay the ultimate price no matter your status. This world is a market place when one finishes his  trading so shall he leave.

Why are we bent on condemning each other since we are completely imperfect beings full of mistakes?

Who doesn’t have a spot? Whose characters are spotlessly perfect? Nobody!

Therefore let us restrain from unthoughtful unleash of vengeance, revenge, hatred etc because law of KARMA is still working. Whatever you sour that you shall reap. By implication, whatever evil or good you demonstrated on your fellow human being on your way up that you must definitely receive on corresponding proportions on your way down, no two ways about it.

Let this be noted: Some people who are aligned with their Great Ancestors are born great and such people are untouchable. And he is one of them. Any evil meted on them cannot be overlooked in a hurry by the Great Ancestors. Law of karma MUST surely take its course. Let us be very careful we imperfect beings they way we handle our relationship on this planet earth. Everyone is not born equally metaphysically and spiritually.

In the world of Igbo karmic metaphysics and spirituality such people who are aligned with their Great Ancestors and act as the custodians of culture and traditions cannot be toyed with let alone thinking of taking their life. Whoever does that directly or indirectly, him and his generation shall definitely receive the instant visitation of law of karma as evidenced in Igbo metaphysics and spirituality. Go and verify!

In as much as Government is handling the matter the way it should be, the custodians of our culture and traditions MUST as a matter of urgency call upon our Great Ancestors to unleash their wrath to these evil perpetrators and also to stop such act for future occurrence.

If truth be told Umuoji and Ndi-Umuoji these are questions for you.

1. Are we really in tune and aligned with the good works of our Great Ancestors?

2. Are we really sustaining and maintaining the good works of our Great Ancestors on whose foundation our emergence and existence was built and founded?

3. Have we or did we offend our Great Ancestors in any manner that such calamity befell us without being observed or spotted by our supposed seers traditionally and otherwise?

4. Who did this to us?

5. At which point did we start getting it wrong?

6. Is there any spiritual atonement left undone in our motherland?

7. Does our motherland need spiritual cleansing and purification?

8. Are we forsaken by our Great Ancestors? If yes what do we do to secure our life and prosperity the way our Great Ancestors did it in the time immemorial?

Umuoji and Ndi-Umuoji these are fundamental questions we need to ponder upon and look critically into our ways and the manners with which we follow things for possible amendments and adjustments. Our land is crying and our Great Ancestors are not that happy with what is going on in our land Umuoji.

The painful demise of our resourceful President-General, Chief Silas Onyima, Ichie Ogidi cannot be taken for granted, such evil act is totally condemned and unacceptable and the perpetrators must surely be brought to justice traditionally and otherwise no matter whose ox is gored.
