NO fewer than 2,000 personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, have been deployed to protect lives, property and critical assets during the planned nationwide protests.

The state Commandant of the corps, Mrs Lucy Fakoya, disclosed this while addressing officers and men of the command in Kaduna on Wednesday.

Fakoya explained that Divisional Officers have already been briefed on the deployment of personnel to protect the assets against all forms of damage by hoodlums.

She said,”We will not tolerate breakdown of law and order, because any person wanton will have his or herself to blame.”

She called on community heads to caution their wards against unruly behaviours during the protests.

Fakoya assured that the NSCDC and other security agencies would continue to collaborate to protect lives, property and critical national assets.(NAN)
