Publisher of ITREALMS Online loses father, Ogbuefi Dominic Nweke

A renowned community leader, Ogbuefi Dominic Udegbunem Nweke, the Ozo Sopuluchukwu of Awba-Ofemili, in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State has passed on.

Ogbuefi Nweke, 91, was the father of the Group Executive Editor of ITREALMS Media group, Remmy Nweke, died on Friday, August 9, 2024, after a brief illness.

According to the statement by Remmy Newke, Ogbuefi Nweke, was until his death, the Patriarch of the Ozo Nweke kindred of Umuosite Village, Awba-Ofemili.

Reputed for his hard work and frankness on matters, Ogbuefi Nweke adopted his Ozo Sopuluchukwu title in reverence to God Almighty for his peaceful disposition.

Ogbuefi Nweke was the famous sibling of Ozo Nweke descendants and known for his accommodating nature and ability to always sue for peace, and will surely be missed by his wife, children, in-laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Christiana Nweke, sons, daughters, in-laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral arrangements for Ogbuefi Nweke will be announced soon by his family.
