Publisher of Urhobotoday Buries Mother April 16

OGHENEKEVWE Laba, publisher of Urhobotoday Online, has announced that Tiro Victoria Obiuwevbi, his mother will be buried on April 16. Laba in a statement disclosed that the service of song of his mother’s burial will hold on Thursday, April 14 at 125 Ekewan Road, Benin-City, Edo State.

According to him, after interment, the reception for the burial ceremony will take place at Ekpan Police State play field, Refinery Road, Warri, Delta State on Saturday. “I am appealing to all numerous readers of Urhobotoday, my friends, relations and well wishers to please endeavour to attend the event and celebrate the passing on my mother to eternity with me,” Laba said.

He reiterated that his lovely and hardworking mother who is a successful business woman and married to Daniel Obiuwevbi, a retired assistant inspector general of Police, AIG, died on November 24, 2015, at the age of 76 years after a protracted illness. She is survived by her widower, five children and several grand children.
