POPULAR American multiple Grammy Award Winner, Robert Sylvester Kelly a.k.a. R. Kelly on Wednesday maintained his stance of being innocence of the sexual abuse allegations against him.

In his first interview with Gayle King on `CBS this Morning’ since his release from jail on bail, the music icon denied he manipulated women into staying with him in emotionally and physically abusive relationships.

During the interview, the `I Believe I can Fly’ crooner was daring, but yet emotional.

“Hate me if you want to, love me if you want, but just use your common sense. How stupid would it be for me, with my crazy past and what I’ve been through.

“Oh, right now I just think I need to be a monster, hold girls against their will, chain them up in my basement, and don’t let them eat, don’t let them out.

“I didn’t do this stuff! This is not me,’’ he said tearfully looking at the camera.

The 52 year-old Chicago born musician and former professional basketball player could not keep calm as he went on cursing and pleading on the camera.

The divorced father of three was arrested and charged with a 10 count charge of aggravated sexual abuse in February for sexual abuse involving a number of women.

He was however granted bail after a bond of 100 hundred thousand dollars was paid.

According to TMZ, Kelly’s100 thousand dollars bond 10 per cent of his one million dollar bail was finally posted Monday, Feb. 25, after he appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to all charges.

It was also revealed that a small crowd gathered outside while the six feet one inch tall music icon walked away a free man, calling him names.

It was also reported that shortly after his bail, the singer, songwriter and record producer and his crew took a break immediately as they went on to have a quick lunch. He is expected to return to the court soon to face trial. (NAN)
