Radda lauds NAF’s dedication to fighting insecurity

GOV. Dikko Radda of Katsina State has commended the personnel of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), 213 Forward Operating Base, for their dedication in the fight against insecurity in the state.
The Governor made the commendation on Saturday during the Base Annual Socio-Cultural Activities (BASA) event held at the NAF Base in Katsina.
Represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abdullahi Faskari, Radda said the event had truly sent a strong message, particularly about the unity of the country.
He expressed the state government’s gratitude to the NAF personnel and other members of the joint security operations in the state for their sacrifice.
Radda said, “They deserve to be appreciated for their efforts and putting their lives across to make sure that we are comfortable and safe in Katsina.
“The deserve pats on their backs for being in the forefront, all of us feel protected and safe.
“Therefore, i salute and thank you, and also pray to the Almighty Allah to continue to protect, guide and reward you for the good effort that you have been doing.
“I appreciate the good efforts of the various cultural groups that participated in the event, this is celebrating the end of the year 2024, and welcoming the year 2025.”
Earlier, the Base Commander, Air-Commodore Garba Jibia said 2024 had been very successful in their operations, not only by the NAF, but the military operations across the country.
The commander added, “The joint efforts we have been putting with other security agencies to bring peace to the nation were also successful.
“This event will showcase various ethnic groups to signify the oneness of our nation, especially different groups also enjoying and living peacefully in the state.”
