Rangers International seeks deeper  cooperation with Enugu FA

RANGERS International FC has sought a deeper cooperation with the Enugu State Football Association for the development of football in the state.

Norbert Okolie, the club`s media officer stated this in a statement in Enugu on Wednesday.

He said that Amobi Ezeaku, General Manager and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the club said this during a visit to the state FA house.

Ezeaku while commiserating with the FA chairman, Tony Ugwu over the death of his mother, informed him of the new management of the club.

“We are here to officially inform you that there is a new management in place at Rangers International FC.

“We are here to officially commiserate with you over the death of your beloved mother and to foster deeper cooperation and thank you for receiving us even on a very short notice.

“Rangers wish to partner with the FA and share ideas on the best way to achieve our goals because, when Rangers is winning, the FA is progressing so that we all progress together,”Ezeaku said.

Responding, Ugwu congratulated the new CEO of Rangers on his appointment and the seamless take-off of activities in the club.

Ugwu commended him for the club’s landmark achievements under his watch.

He promised to cooperate with the club for football development in the state.

“Enugu FA is always ready to cooperate with your team, partner with you in areas that will bring development to the game of football in the state.

“We will always be available to share ideas that will see us celebrate football in the state,” he said.

Highlight of the visit was the presentation of the club’s jersey to the FA Chairman by the manager of Rangers. (NAN)
