Reps-elect, Ukodhiko celebrates Edith Okowa at 62

NIGERIA’s House of Representatives member-elect, Pst. Jonathan Ukodhiko has celebrated immediate past Delta First Lady, Dame Edith Okowa, on the occasion of her 62nd birthday.
Ukodhiko in a statement on Thursday, in Abuja, said, “Her Excellency, Dame Okowa is an epitome of ideal humanity as well as a symbol of what a quintessential wife of a public office holder should be, a worthy partner “
According to him, “Her Excellency, Evangelist Edith Okowa through her well-thought out 05 initiative pet project stood out resplendently amongst other First Ladies in the Federation.
Ukodhiko lauded the wife of the immediate past Delta State Governor for her immense contributions to the promotion of good healthcare and economic empowerment of women in the State.
“Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa is selfless, affable, calm and ever patient with a listening ear, whose charitable personality precedes her.
“She was adoringly called Mama Delta, deservingly so. She remains a great exponent of family values, dotting and, was supportive to her husband, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa when he was a Governor of our dear State, Delta.
Ukodhiko , a former Delta Energy Commissioner said, “Dame Okowa’s life has been a source of blessings and an inspiration, dedicated to the service of humanity.
“Yes, when she was First Lady of the State, many found succor and got inspiration from her germane advices and wise counsels, and she was supportive of worthy causes that uplift humanity.
“And we Isoko Federal Constituency, acknowledge and appreciate the philanthropic works of Dame Edith Okowa, and we celebrate her for her generous disposition, magnanimity and love for the people of Isoko.
“It is with great joy for me and my wife, Ivie, on behalf of the good people of Isokonation, celebrate a woman of remarkable excellence, Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa , immediate past Delta State First Lady, wishing her good health in her continued service to humanity.
