RESIDENTS of John Nwadiogbu Street, Omagba phase 2, Enekwasumpu, Obosi in idemili North Local Government Area are threatened by gully erosion.

The residents are appealing to Anambra government to come to their aid in controlling the erosion, threatening to destroy their buildings and farmlands in the area.

They complained that the problem worsened whenever it rained   and that their lives were endangered as the buildings were nearly been subsumed by erosion.

Many people living in the area had started evacuating from the affected areas.

Some of the residents said that efforts had been made by the people to control the erosion to no avail.
