THE latest plan by the camp of the presidential candidate of a prominent political party to sow disorder and malign the OBiDient Movement that supports the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has been revealed.

A statement by the public awareness group of the movement alerted Nigerians about the seven failed and foiled strategy which has been rehashed to discredit them.

The statement reads: “Dear OBIdients, there have been at least 7 failed and foiled strategy plans to stop you and pave the way for people of other parties who believe you should not support your choice candidate.

Such people believe that power belongs to them and exclusively so.

Having failed in efforts to hijack the social media for which they accused the OBIdients of being flukes, they have devised new methods to cow the adherents of the movement
The latest strategies are

  1. To unleash security operatives to start hunting and arresting members of the movement.
  2. To dub them IPOB members
  3. To find flimsy accusations and hang on them
  4. To brand OBIdients as people who sponsored the #EndSARS protests to arrest and incarcerate them. Dear OBIdient Movement supporters, recall that they had trained and recruited 6300 social media brats in Abuja to run the Movement out of the show.
  5. Having failed in all these, there is the latest strategy, a sinister one at that, to accuse His Excellency Peter Obi of being a member of the IPOB. In fact, the major intention is to brand every supporter of the Movement as IPOB member.
  6. These things are linked to the people that have the privilege to use state power.
  7. The name of this latest project is WINNING THE ELECTION BEFORE THE ELECTION
The OBIdients Movement therefore, alerted that: “We therefore call on all OBIdients to be steadfast and never be intimidated as they intend
Another strategy, which is part of what failed earlier, but on which they have not relented is to plant fake and false reports in social media, like the one they made up that Elon Musk, world’s richest man supported and donated money to Obi’s campaign.
  8. What we need to do in this circumstances is to factually and promptly counter such false reports planted by them before they take wings of their own and start sounding like truths.”
  9. The last meeting to destabilize the OBIdients held in Abuja on Wednesday. With reports from the China press centre.
