THE Rivers Government has urged the public to jettison some unconfirmed reports making rounds on various media platform concerning the sack of some aides and local government chairmen.
The Commissioner for Information, Mr Joe Johnson made the remark in Port Harcourt on Tuesday in a statement titled, ‘’Unfounded Reports.’’
He maintained that Gov. Siminalaye Fubara ‘’is a technocrat, with robust civil service background, kind hearted and a very humane person.’’
Johnson stated that Fubara always did things according to laid down rules and with the fear of God.
He assured the people of Rivers and the public that they would be properly informed of who might have been removed by the governor at the appropriate time.
According to him, it is pertinent to note that as the Commissioner for Information and Communication, I shall keep the public updated of events in due course. (NAN)
