Safety Babes beat Benue Queens 36-28 at Prudent Energy Handball Premier League

Safety Babes, the female handball team of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), on Tuesday, defeated the Benue Queens of Makurdi 36-28 at the on-going Prudent Energy Handball Premier League.
Safety Babes led the game from the first half, with scores standing at 20-10 at the break, and they put up a more coordinated display thereafter to ensure they held on to their lead.
They will now face the Seasiders Babes on Wednesday in their next match at the competition, while the Benue Queens will also face Kada Stars.
Twelve teams are participating in the male category of the league, while 10 teams are featuring in the female category.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the league which entered Match Day 11 on Tuesday started on Oct. 31 and will end on Saturday. (NAN)
