Sahel: Nigeria Police committed to ending insecurity- I-G

THE Inspector General, (IGP) Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Kayode Egbetokun has restated the commitment of the Police Force in fighting insecurity bedeviling the country.

Egbetokun said this during the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) 1st annual international lecture on Thursday in Abuja.

The IG,  who was represented by Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Benneth Igweh commended  NAN for organising a lecture on insecurity.

The theme of the lecture is Insecurity in the Sahel(2008-2024); Dissecting Nigeria’s Challenges, Genesis, Impacts and Options.

“The Police are part of the system. We will continue to fight this scourge affecting our dear country, “he reaffirmed.(NAN)
