GOV. Uba Sani of Kaduna State has received with sadness, the news of the death of Rep. Ekene Adams (LP-Kaduna), who was confirmed dead on Tuesday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the deceased represented the Chikun and Kajuru Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives..
This is contained in a statement by Sani’s spokesperson, Muhammad Shehu, issued to newsmen on Tuesday in Kaduna.
Born in 1985, the Adams lived an exemplary life of active service to the people of his constituency and Kaduna State at large.
”In his life time, Adams was well respected as a politician,bcommunity leader, sports administrator and philanthropist.
”A dedicated football lover and administrator, Ekene established KADA City FC, a Nigerian football club based in Kaduna, to discover talents and promote football within Kaduna State.
”He was often regarded as one of the youngest football club owners in Nigeria. The late Mr Adams was Chairman of the House Committee on Sports. ”
Sani, in a condolence message to the family of the deceased and the people of Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, eulogized the late Representative as a trailblazer and fearless politician and administrator. (NAN )
