“I condemn in strong terms, the callous murder of Idoko, the Youth Leader of APC in Igboeze South LGA on Oct. 8 by gunmen.

“The security agencies  should do everything humanly possible to ensure that perpetrators of that henious and distardly act are  arrested and prosecuted

“This act is condemnable in its entirety. Nothing can ever justify this cowardly and brutal behaviour.

“I am devastated; I am yet to recover from the psychological shock of gruesome murder of Idoko on Saturday,” he said.

According to Eze, those who cut their brothers in their prime should also meet similar fate sooner than later.

The senatorial candidate, urged members of the APC in the district and especially in Igboeze-South to remain calm, peaceful, law abiding and prayerful.

“May the merciful God that we serve, grant Idoko eternal rest, till we meet on the resurrection morning,” the statement added.
