Senatorial candidate promises quality representation if elected

CHINEDU Emeka, a former deputy governor of Anambra State and candidate has vowed to ensure quality representation, if elected as a senator to represent Anambra North Senatorial District.

Emeka is a candidate for Anambra North Senatorial District under the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the upcoming general elections.

He vowed during his campaign rally at Onitsha North Local Government Area.

According to him during his tenure he will not discriminate against any group or community.

Emeka promised to pursue restructuring/fiscal federalism, infrastructure development and internal security structures.

Others are industrialisation, Agriculture, erosion control and youth empowerment.

He pledged to run an open door policy as well as accommodate any vision that would help the state to achieve its target.

The aspirant expressed joy at Governor Willie Obiano’s approach to governance, describing him as hard working man.

Patrick Agha Mba, the transition committee chairman, Onitsha North LGA, said the people had confidence in him, believing that he would live up to their expectations, if elected.

Agha Mba while assuring the senate aspirant of his support during the election, pleaded with the Onitsha North community to draw support for him by casting their votes for him.

Meanwhile, Emeka Asoanya, the Onitsha South transition committee chairman, urged the people of Anambra North not to be deceived by any party, saying that they should come out en masse to vote APGA.

He pleaded with the APGA ward leaders and officers to go and deliver their polling units.

The event drew the APGA faithful, party officers, Onitsha North APGA stakeholders, ward and women groups as well as youths of the council.
