Shettima visits Enugu to inaugurate MSME Hub, other projects

THE Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima on Thursday arrived Enugu State on official visit, after his last official visit to the state on Feb. 26, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

NAN reports that Shettima is in the state to inaugurate the Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Hub being executed by Enugu government.

He is expected to inspect the MSME Clinic and Exhibition.

The official manifest obtained by NAN also showed that the Vice President will equally discuss with the exhibitors, Ministries, Departments and Agencies and the private sector partners during the visit.

Other activities to be performed by the visiting vice president are the inspection of Government House Command, Government House Digital Museum and International Conference Centre, Enugu under rehabilitation.

NAN recalled that Shettima had in Feb. 26 attended the South-East Business Roundtable and formal launch of the South-East phase of the Light up Nigeria Project.

The Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah accompanied by other top government officials had earlier welcomed Shettima at Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.

Mr Vice President’s present visit will be the second since the inauguration of Gov. Peter on May 29, 2023. (NAN)
