Sokoto gets new NYSC State Coordinator

A new State Coordinator for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Sokoto State, Alhaji Usman Yakubu-Yaro, has assumed duty.
This is contained in a statement by Malam Sani Idris, the Public Relations Officer for the scheme in the state on Tuesday in Sokoto.
Idris said Yakubu-Yaro took over from Alhaji Muhammadu Nakamba, who retired from the service after he completed stipulated period.
Nakamba thanked the members of staff and corps members for their cooperation and support during his tenure.
He told his successor that he his tenure was fruitful because of the cordial relationship he had with the members of staff.
In a remark, Yakubu-Yaro pledged to run an open door policy order to give staff the opportunity to make positive contributions for the success of the scheme.
He assured to prioritise welfare and security of both corps members and staff.
