Soname, Remo Stars owner, quits NPFL’s  IMC

KUNLE Soname, the Proprietor of Remo Stars Football Club of Ikenne, has resigned his appointment with the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). 

Soname, in a letter of May 23 to Ibrahim Gusau, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, said his official resignation should be considered effective immediately.

“While thanking you for the opportunity to serve on the committee, I wish the NFF and the IMC of NPFL all the very best,” he added. 

The NFF President has since accepted the resignation and also thanked Soname for his robust efforts in the IMC and his continuing contributions to the growth of football in Nigeria.(NAN)
