Southern senators mourn Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah

NIGERIAN Southern Senators Forum on Saturday expressed sadness over the demise of Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah.

Ubah (Anambra South) died on Saturday in London.

Chairman of the forum, Sen. Adetokunbo Abiru, in a statement, praised Sen. Ubah’s significant contributions to business, the legislature, Anambra , and the nation.

Abiru highlighted Ubah’s remarkable achievements in the business sector, noting  his entrepreneurial ventures positively impacted the economy.

He commended his dedication and effectiveness as a legislator, saying his efforts were instrumental in shaping policies and advancing the interests of his constituency and the nation at large.

Abiru also lauded Ubah’s contributions to  the development of Anambra , saying his various  initiatives  brought progress and prosperity to the state and the South-East region.

He extended the forum’s deepest condolences to late Ubah’s family, friends,the people of Anambra,the South-East and Nigeria.

“Sen. Ubah’s legacy would continue to inspire future generations. May his soul rest in peace,” Abiru said. (NAN)(
