SPEAKER, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, has called on leaders at all levels to make sacrifice for growth, unity and development of Nigeria.

The speaker made the call on Sunday in an an Easter message after service at the Evangelical Church Wining All (ECWA) Good News GRA Lafia.

The speaker, who joined the faithful, at the church to observe the feast, emphasized the need for leaders to be more patriotic in nation building.

Jatau noted that  since the tomb could hold Jesus back, it therefore meant that all hopeless situations could be rekindled, hence the need for Nigerians to be prayerful, do the right things and keep hope alive.

The speaker called on Nigerians, especially leaders, to sacrifice for the growth, unity and development of the country.

While congratulating Christians on the Easter celebrations, he urged them to always have hope in life in spite of their situations and conditions.

He also used the medium to call on the people of the state and Nigerians to pray and support leaders at all levels to succeed.

The speaker further enjoined Nigerians to live in unity and co-exist peacefully with one another for development to thrive.

Earlier, in a  sermon, Rev. Joshua Tuwan  of the Church, called on wicked people not to rejoice over evil as the scripture envisaged that God’s judgment was sacrosanct.

He reminded Christians that since Jesus Christ resurrected, wickedness would no longer prevail over good.

The man of God said it was out of unconditional love that propelled Jesus to willingly die on the cross to redeem man.

He challenged Christians to learn from such virtues where love would be demonstrated, devoid of race, religion and tribes.(NAN)
