THE Body of State Diaspora Focal Point Officers, SDFPOs, has expressed its regret on the passing of Sadiat Abeke Erogbogbo, the amiable mother of the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Nigeria Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

“As painful as this loss is to us, we take comfort in the fact that Sadiat Erogbogbo not only lived to a ripe age of 90 years, but there are legions of evidence that she lived a true and rewarding life, most especially as a *”Teacher of Teachers”, who built a nation of students across the country by what she imparted in them.

“More importantly, we’re comforted by the fact that Sadiat bequeathed to Nigeria specifically, and the world at large, our own Abike Dabiri-Erewa, a woman whose attributes, character and professionalism cannot be adequately captured by any adjectives except to say that she’s simply amazing as her positive, unprecedented impact among Nigerians in the Diaspora continues to be felt.

“We pray that the Almighty Allah grant *Pa Ashafa Erogbogbo, her husband, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” the group said in a statement.
