OZIOMACHUKWU Favour Mojekwu, 11-year-old talented musician, has taken his project, ‘Stop Child Cruelty’ to another level. He wants Nigerians to join him in condemning violence against children as they deserve care and love.
Mojekwu who is popularly known as OzzyBee stated this in an interview with Realnews in Lagos on Sunday, July 22, at a beauty pageant where he dazzled the invitees with some of his latest songs and also received an award.
In the interview, he explained that he had touched lives of less privilege children and afflicted children through his project. He also spoke passionately on his music career and his source of inspiration.
Speaking on the impact of his pet project, he cited of his visit to Usman Sadiq from Kaduna State that lost his eyes to ritualists and supported him with presents. The gesture earned him a call from Shehu Idris, Emir of Zazzau, who invited him to his palace to appreciate him for helping Sadiq.
Mojekwu also disclosed that he sponsored some less-privileged children to Tinapa resort in Calabar state for fun among other assistance.
“My motivation in the music industry is God Almighty, followed by my mum as she has been supporting me all the way and without her, I can’t do anything. My first experience that I would love to relate to anybody is when I won ‘the kids got talent’ competition at the age of four. I got the best standing ovation from everybody and I could remember clearly that I got a trophy and some presents,” Mojekwu said.
The wise and talented kid who has his mother as his manager advised young talented children to go to school, obey their parents and “take your school works seriously because education is the key to greatness and success in whatever you want to do. I love you kids.”
