STRENGTHENING relations between ECOWAS and the European Union, EU, Damtien L. TCHINTCHIBIDJA, Vice-President of the ECOWAS Commission granted audience to several Ambassadors of the European Union, led by the Ambassador of the European Union to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Samuela, SOP, and the Head of its West Africa Division in Brussels, Richard Young.

The discussions, which took place in the presence of Ambassador Abdel-Fatau Musah, Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security, and Abdou Kolley, Director of Cabinet of the President of the ECOWAS Commission, focused on partnership in various areas and the shared desire to work together to meet the regional and global challenges of peace, stability and prosperity.
