THE Education Department, Aguata Local Government Area, secretariat was agog with applicants, who came in droves to submit their applications for teaching jobs.
This is in response to the advertisement for recruitment of teachers with National Certificate of Education, NCE, and the Bachelors of Education, B.ED, into the teaching service.
The advertisement was published by the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, ASUBEB.
The submission of applications, which started on Feb. 15, would close on March 1.
An examination to test proficiency of candidates in Mathematics, English studies and General papers has been fixed for March 10.
The applicants were advised to check in at their LGA Education Authority for their examination numbers and venues, two days before the examination date.
