THE families of Adesanya and Ipinmisho and their guests on Saturday, July 8, 2023, witnessed the marital rites of Otunba Suleiman and Yeye Shakyrah.

The Ambient was colourfully set at Babajide Sanwo-Olu Hall, LTV 8, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos, where guests in their white and blue with touch of Lemon and gold color attires graced the occasion to rejoice with the couple and their families.


The marriage engagement was performed before the couple were formally wedded in accordance with Islamic tradition. There were moments of thrills and glamour and plenty of assorted foods and drinks to the delight of the guests.

        
Imam Nurudeen Abduruqadri of the Alhaja Sideeqat Ahmad Megida Central Mosque, Ikorodu, who preached on the three pillars of marriage added that marriage is one of the signs and blessings of Almighty Allah.

He said that to build a successful marriage, it would have to be established on the three pillars of Love, Peace and Mercy.

Imam Mohammad M. Alawiye, who led the Islamic clergymen from Ogun State, was on ground to conduct the marriage rites as he joined the couple in marriage. He also wished them fruitfulness in their marriage.

Expressing her delight, Adesanya Yekini, the bride’s sister said that Otunba made a wise choice in her sister and that the bride “is caring, respectful and loving”. She said that they would make a perfect union together.

Otunba Suleiman’s sister and husband, John Olorundare, told Realnews that the groom “is a perfect gentleman with class”.

Speaking on his wedding, Suleiman said that he was excited and fulfilled having Shakyrah as his wife.

He said that marriage was a beautiful thing and a sign of blessing from God.

He explained that his perception of marriage hasn’t changed one bit and that “the institution of marriage must be cherished because it is Divine”.

The marriage ceremony was attended by numerous dignitaries, including the representative of Oba of Badagry, Dapegan of Badagry Kingdom, founder of Nike Art Gallery, Nike Okundaye, Alamaro of Ekinnade, former Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Abubakar Basir Gegu.
