Sunday Igboho drags FG to court

….seeks N500 million damages
SUNDAY Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has dragged the federal government of Nigeria to court over the July 2, raid of his residence in Ibadan, Oyo State, by the Department of State Security, DSS.
In the suit filed at the Oyo State High Court, Ibadan, Igboho listed the DSS and Abubakar Malami, attorney general of the Federation, AGF, SAN, as defendants while seeking N500 billion damages for loss he incurred.
The Yoruba nation activist is asking the court to enforce his fundamental human right.
He is being held at present in Republic of Benin where he is being tried for immigration offenses.
