SWAN to partner Kebbi Govt. to promote sports

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kebbi state chapter, says it will partner with the state government to promote sports in the state.
The State Secretary of the association, Alhaji Mansoor Danjumma, made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday.
“The state SWAN members are determined to promote sporting activities in the state.
“We will collaborate with the state government to move sports forward,we have discovered that the only way to boost sporting activities is by partnering with the relevant stakeholders in the state,” he said.
Danjumma appealed to the state government to make early preparation for local and national sporting activities, particularly the forth coming 19th National Sports Festival billed for Abuja from Dec.6 – Dec.16
The secretary commended the state government for reviving sports within three years and urged it to increase efforts by engaging more youths to participate in sports. (NAN).
