THE Syrian Foreign Ministry has condemned attacks carried out by protesters supporting a Kurdish militia on United Nations offices in the country’s northeastern city of Qamishli.
In a statement, the ministry said such attacks obstruct humanitarian work in Syria, urging the United States to pressure the Kurdish militia to stop such attacks.
Last Wednesday, a group of people supporting the Kurdistan People’s Workers’ Party (PKK) attacked a World Health Organisation facility.
“They also attacked other UN buildings in Qamishli during their demonstrations against Turkish attacks on the PKK militants in northern Syria.’’the ministry said
