GOV. Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto has urged the new Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Nuhu Bamalli, to provide quality leadership for the benefit of people in the emirate and country at large.

Tambuwal gave the advice while recieving the new Emir on Wednesday in Sokoto.

The governor described the new emir as a pious, patriotic, patient and straigth forward person.

He noted that apart from the historical relationship between the Sokoto Caliphate and Zazzau Emirate, the new Emir also has family relationship with Sokoto State.

The governor charged the emir to sustain peace, unity and stability in Zazza emirate, as well as the country in general.

Tambuwal noted that Zaria is a cosmopolitan city, with people from diverse ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds, hence the need to sustain unity among them.
