THE presentation was made by the Vice President of the Taekwondo Federation of Nigeria, Tayo Kuburat Popoola on behalf of the President of Women in sports Commission, Prof. Florence Adeyanju at the Lagos camp site, Brai Ayenote Boxing Complex, National Stadium Surulere, Lagos.
According to her, the donation was the women in sports little way of boosting the morale of team Nigeria athletes ahead of the continental sporting fiesta.
The items which were mainly toiletries, were received by the Lagos Camp Commandant, Femi Ajao on behalf of the athletes with the support of Nkana Mbora, incharge of the Lagos Liaison office, Federal Ministry of Sports Development.
With the athletes scattered in various camps a Ross the country, only 5 sports are camped in Lagos.
