ACCORDING to JAMB statistics, 8,401 students scored more than 300 in the recently released exam. From available data, it’s evident that missionary and private schools accounted for about 8,200 of these students.

We extend special thanks to Catholic schools for leading the way, with over 6000 of the high scorers of 300 and above coming from their institutions. Take, for example, these two Catholic schools, representative of many others like them. (Refer to the attached image from just one Catholic school, bearing in mind that the Catholic Church has thousands of schools nationwide):

A. Christ the King College Gwagwalada boasted 37 students scoring over 300.
B. Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College in Ilorin saw 30 students achieving the same feat.

Deeper Life schools are also making significant strides, with 174 students out of their 23 schools scoring over 300.

With these impressive results, society has no choice but to reasonably demand government support for missionary and private schools.
