TWO chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Chief Bisi Akande, on Tuesday in Abuja met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The APC chieftains were in the presidential villa barely some hours after the release of a letter purportedly written by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, advising President Buhari not to re-contest the 2019 presidential villa.
NAN reports that both Tinubu and Akande, who met with the president for about an hour, declined to speak to State House correspondents after the meeting.
It would be recalled that the two chieftains were absent at the last Thursday’s night dinner hosted by President Buhari for APC chieftains across the country.
