THE Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, has described the victory of President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) as the affirmation and manifestation of the mandate of Nigerians to Tinubu and Vice-President Kassim Shettima.

Abdullahi stated this on Thursday in Lafia while reacting to the PEPC judgment in favour of Tinubu in Abuja on Sept. 6.

The speaker congratulated Tinubu and Shettima as well as the All Progressives Congress on their resounding victory.

The Nassarawa state number three citizen hailed the judgment that affirmed Tinubu as the duly elected president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He described the court verdict as the affirmation and manifestation of the mandate of Nigerians given to the president and the APC, saying the judgment reflected the wishes and aspirations of the citizens.

The speaker therefore called on all Nigerians to support the president to succeed.

He further noted that the judiciary has once again demonstrated that it remained the last hope of the common man.

Abdullahi equally commended the APC lawyers for painstakingly presenting their cases comprehensively and convincingly.

“And to the best of their abilities resulting to the victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal and I  urge them to keep the flag flying,” he said.  (NAN)
