Ukodhiko Extols Odiologbo of Oleh At 86

HOUSE of Representatives member-elect, Pst. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has commended His Royal Majesty, Anthony Williams Ovrawah, Omogha 1, the Odiologbo of Oleh Kingdom for his service to his people as he turns 86 years.

Ukodhiko in a statement on Saturday in Abuja, extolled the octogenarian as one of Nigeria’s most outstanding elder statesmen, upright and selfless monarchs.

He described the Odiologbo of Oleh and member of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, “as a philosopher-king, courageous, sagely and endowed with rare intellect.”

The former Delta Energy Commissioner said the monarch’s uncommon leadership qualities has earned him the position of Chairman, Isoko Traditional Rulers Council.

Engr. Ukodhiko stated that, “the 29th year reign of the monarch has witnessed tremendous peace, progress and development of the Oleh Kingdom.

“I must acknowledge our highly respected traditional ruler’s pivotal roles in the sustenance of peace and unity across Isoko nation.

“Also, I recognize the pragmatic efforts and the uncommon innate diplomatic acumen of the Chief Custodian of the traditions of the Oleh Kingdom.

“Our monarch has commendably preserved and properly propagated the richly enchanting culture and custom of the Oleh Kingdom, nay, Isoko ethnic nationality.

“At 86, the revered Oleh traditional ruler, remains a solid source of inspiration and rallying point, and we appreciate his wise counsel in all matters.

The Isoko Federal lawmaker-elect reiterated he has great reverence for the monarch and he would partner with the traditional ruler for a robust representation of Isoko in the House of Representatives.

“As our Highly esteemed royal father marks his 86th birthday, I join the good people of my maternal Oleh Kingdom to celebrate his Majesty.

“It is my continuous prayer and wish of good health, longevity and more wisdom for our great monarch and his reign witness more peace and prosperity in Oleh.” Ukodhiko added.
