Ukodhiko hails Nigeria’s ex-defence Chief, Ogomudia at 74

MEMBER of the House of Representatives, Jonathan Ukodhiko has felicitated with former Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Alexander Ogomudia on his 74th birth anniversary on Friday.
Ukodhiko, in a statement by his Media Assistant, Mr Ajiroghene Oreh in Erawha-Owhe, lauded Ogomudia for his contributions towards the prevention, management and resolution of conflicts and ensuring unity in Nigeria and the world.
According to him, “the apogee of Gen. Ogomudia’s outstanding military career at the Nation’s Armed Forces was his appointment to the halcyon position of Chief of Army Staff and the zenith, Chief of Defence Staff.”
Ukodhiko said; “On behalf of my family and the people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, I felicitate with a prominent son of Isoko-nation and a distinguished Army General, Alexander Odareduo Ogomudia, CFR from Uzere Kingdom on his 74th birthday.
“Gen. Ogomudia, firm, committed remains one of Nigeria’s most gallant, resourceful and remarkably patriotic army officers whose highly successful and brilliant military career saw him holding Extra-Regimental appointments in and outside our country.
“As Chief of Army Staff and Defence Chief, Gen Ogomudia worked tirelessly in strengthening and reprofessionalising the Nigerian Armed Forces in the 21st Century.
“We at Isokonation are proud of him just as we also recognize and appreciate the patriotic service of General Alexander Ogomudia in the Nigerian armed forces, to the Nigerian nation and humanity.”
Reps Ukodhiko, Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Science and Technology described Gen. Ogomudia as a veteran peace-maker and peace-keeper per excellence.
“No doubts, General Alexander Ogomudia’s presence and expertise will be direly needed achieving the unity, peace and sustainable development of Isoko.” Hon. Ukodhiko added
