Ukodhiko hails Oweh appointment as chair of HMB

MEMBER representing Isoko North/South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko has hailed the appointment of the Chairman of Delta State Hospital Management Board, Dr Paul Oweh on Wednesday.
In a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Ajiri-Oghene Oreh, on Thursday, Hon Ukodhiko expressed satisfaction with the choice of Dr Oweh as Chairman of the new Hospital management Board by the State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.
The Isoko federal lawmaker, described the appointment of Oweh a renowned medical practitioner and experienced public administrator as “placing a square peg in a square hole.”
Hon. Ukodhiko stated that, “Dr. Paul Oweh is nationally acclaimed as a brand name in the sphere of medicine where he has contributed immensely to the development of Delta State and Nigeria at large.
“I recall his monumental contributions to the improvements in secondary healthcare services rendered by General Hospitals in the State some years ago when he was chairman of the Hospital Management Board.
“That the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, found him worthy to be reappointed to the same position is a fact that Dr Oweh succeeded during his first outing as chairman of the Hospital Management Board. “
Ukodhiko, who is the Deputy Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Science and Technology expressed confidence in the ability of Dr Oweh to bring his depth of knowledge and wealth of experience in medicine and administration to bear in the discharge of his duties as Chairman of the Management Board of Delta Hospitals.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, I write to congratulate you, a worthy son and patriot of Isoko-nation, Chief (Dr.) Paul Oredona Oweh on your appointment as the Chairman of the Delta State Hospital Management Board.
“For us in Isoko, we consider your appointment by the State Governor as a recognition of your ability and capacity to deliver on the essence of good healthcare services to the people of the State in line with the M.O.R.E Agenda of the Delta State Government.
