Ukodhiko receives certificate of return from INEC

MEMBER-elect, House of Representatives, Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, has been issued certificate of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission following his victory at the February 25 National Assembly election in Isoko Federal Constituency.
The presentation of the certificate of Return, presided over by the chairman, INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu was held on Wednesday at the National Collation Center in Abuja, the Nation’s Federal Capital Territory.
Speaking immediately after the presentation, Ukodhiko thanked the people of Isoko Federal Constituency for the confidence reposed on him through their votes .
He said, “I will justify the confidence of my Isoko people on me by being a worthy representative in the 10th National Assembly that they will be proud of”
“I clearly understand the enormity of my mandate. I’m coming to serve Isoko with all my strength, intelligence, zeal, deploying my contacts
“I will do everything within my legislative representation to improve the lives of my people through empowerment programmes and developmental projects for socioeconomic growth.
“Let me use this opportunity to reassure my people of Isoko South/Isoko North Federal Constituency, that; I’ll be fair, equitable in my representation, keeping to the fulfillment of my campaign promises.”
Speaking on the 10th National Assembly that would be inaugurated soon, Engr. Ukodhiko said, “with the caliber of men and women I saw here today in the hall, definitely, the 10th House of Representatives will not be rubber stamp but very robust, contributing meaningfully to the National Development”
“My beloved constituents and indeed all Nigerians should look forward to new laws and policies that will see to the realization of our country’s collective democratic attainments and lofty aspirations” Ukodhiko added.
